I once won a health reporting award for kissing a llama, but now I write ads for money (and sometimes fun).
Before moving to New York City to pursue a career in advertising, I was a contributing writer for a Pulitzer-winning alternative weekly newspaper in Portland, Oregon. When the paper's editorial team took down the state's governor in 2015, I was there, 100 feet away in the Arts & Culture department, writing erotic fan fiction about a movie I was supposed to be reviewing.
